Michael asks…

Does anyone know of a good diet and excercise plan?

I want to lose weight and become more fit. I need a diet and workout plan that won’t cost me anything or very little. Anyone know of somewhere I can find that or some advice.

Jack T. answers:

I can recommend you very good diet: Winter diet. However, there are many.
The secret is:
1. Select a diet you like.
2. Exercise – at least 5 km walk per day (not too much efforts, however!)
3. Change the diet every two weeks.
4. Keep dieting and exercising in the case you break them for a day!
Good luck!

Thomas asks…

Does anyone know what diet pills are best to take to really burn your weight?

I just wann know from those who have tried fat burning pills and have seen them work for them.. Which pills are the very strongest and best for burning fat???

Jack T. answers:

Honestly, I’ve tried nearly everything at one time or the other. Since i was 15 i tried pills, starving, anorexia, laxatives… None of that crap works.
Most of the over counter types are basicly the same. They are either stimulants that can give you a little energy which helps a little if you need that type of motivation to get you to workout. They never really work as appetite suppressants. But some of them are just bad, leaving you jittery, cause headaches, or just make you mean and irritable.
The fat burner type are the worst ones in my opinion. The ones i’ve tried have all been pretty bad. They all tend to have a laxative effect, make you pee alot and deplete your body of nutrients so if your dieting wrong you will almost always end up getting muscle cramps because of them. Headaches and upset stomach is also a big possibility.
This is based on 15 plus years of personal experience. The only thing that finally helped me get my weight under control was I finally stopped being lazy. I use the Insanity work out, 6 days a week when i want to drop a few pounds.
The best fat burner in my opinion is a good cardio work out.

Betty asks…

How long will it take for my stomach fat to go away?

I started a new workout/diet so i can be slimmer for my vacation in 2 weeks. I do a 13 minute ab workout everyday and ride the workout bike for 30 minutes everyday. I drink lots water and eat healthy foods. How long will it take to burn off my stomach fat? I dont have a lot, just like a pouch.

Jack T. answers:

It takes a 3,500 calorie deficit to lose a pound, and not all of that will be fat.

Excess fat is distributed all over the body, and it usually disappears last from the midsection and thighs, because these are two areas where the body carries fat most efficiently.

Your ab workout, while strengthening your core, will not burn your belly fat, since there’s no way to target the abdomen. You have to reduce your overall percentage of body fat to see results.

You might want to amp up your cardio workout and add some weight training. 30 minutes a day is not a whole lot for weight loss, and exercise bikes burn far fewer calories than treadmills, stair climbers, and other cardio equipment. Try two 30-minute sessions, if you can find the time, or add some brisk walking to your routine.

Charles asks…

What is a good workout plan to balance burning fat and toning/ building muscle?

Also im looking for an idea as to what my diet should consist of.
Im 6’0 tall and weigh about 170 pounds give or take.
Thanks.

Jack T. answers:

In order to build muscle u need to do heavy weight less reps abt five per set.
Example benching 225 for five then 240 for five then 255 for five
in order to tone muscle u need to push lighter weight more reps about ten per set.
Example benching 185 for ten then 200 for ten then 225 for ten.

Just make sure the program corresponds with how much weight u can actually push.

Burn fat… Just run… The most effective way is short bursts such as sprinting….
Sprint a hundred meters but every ten meters turn it on then the next ten ease up and so on

ive played football and ran track.. So yea i worked out to get big and did my fat burning also

Richard asks…

Unable to loose weight even after following healthy diet and workout?

I have been working out and was on a healthy diet for 2 months now. I lost around 3 kgs on the first month and 1kg this month. But this one kg keep bouncing back. I am no longer loosing any more weight with my current diet and workout regime.
My diet is as follows:
Morning – Lemon water
Breakfat- Oats boiled in milk and protein shake in water
Lunch-Protein shake in milk
Snack-Fruits
Evening-Protein shake in water
Dinner- 1 roti,dal and salad.

I workout for aound 2 hours(1 hour cardio+1 hour weight training) 6 days a week. Please tell me what changes I should make to the workout/diet to start loosing weight again.

Jack T. answers:

You must be exhausted.

Drop your diet. Any weight loss starts with burning more calories than you consume, but what many diet plans don’t tell you is that your body will literally stop burning fat if you aren’t supplying it with enough nutrients. Instead of protein shakes, find a solid food equivalent to the calorie count, and treat yourself with someone unhealthy once a week. I know it sounds counter productive, but your metabolism will thank you.

I spent the largest majority of my life circling around the 300 lb mark. I was VERY active and still I couldn’t shed the weight, but once I relaxed my plan. The weight flew off. I’ve lost 100lbs in the last year and a half.

Best of luck.
